My story
I know how it feels.
I understand how debilitating life can be for you – and your loved ones. In fact, I know that finding a pain physician who actually listens – and cares is all too rare nowadays. I learned first hand with my family members about the struggles of medications that didn’t work, doctors that didn’t explain things clearly, and feeling like their energy was sapped. I was in your shoes. It doesn’t have to be this way. That called me to enter the field.
Here’s the good news- I’ve treated people just like you at Stanford University and Cedars-Sinai get results.
I’ve written for the New England Journal of Medicine, authored book chapters on pain, practiced as a pharmacist, delivered national keynote presentations, and spent time with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Absolutely! As you may know there are an increasing number of local pain physicians who do not take Medicare. I gladly take Medicare.
I am in Westlake Village, Porter Ranch, and Simi Valley. Usually patients see me for the first visit in person. If it is allowed, then you can be see virtually . That means you wouldn’t have to come in to the offices listed above each time.

It is best to check with your insurance company. Usually, for the majority of plans a patient does not have to be referred.
